The MANAC Group Charter of Corporate Behavior

We establish this charter of corporate behavior in order to support the evolution and advancement of society with specialty chemicals.

While ensuring communication with all stakeholders, we shall continue providing products with social value toward realizing a sustainable society.

Legal compliance
We shall comply with the laws and regulations of each country and region, and maintain high ethical standards as we develop our global business activities.

Sustainable economic growth and solutions for social issues
We shall provide new value to society through innovations using chemical technologies in order to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.

Fair business practices
We shall comply with the laws and regulations of each country and region, and conduct responsible procurement as well as appropriate business transactions based on fair and open competition.

Fair information disclosure and constructive dialogue with stakeholders
We shall manage company information properly and disclose information in a timely and appropriate manner. We shall also strive to increase corporate value by conducting constructive dialogue with a wide range of stakeholders involved with the company.

Respect for human rights
We shall respect the human rights of all people.

Relationships of trust with consumers and clients
We shall provide appropriate information and communicate in good faith in order to earn the trust and satisfaction of our clients.

Workstyle reform
We shall endeavor to strengthen individual abilities, realize workstyles that respect the diversity, personality, and individuality of employees, and achieve a work-life balance.

Enhancement of workplace environments
We shall strive to create comfortable workplace environments with due consideration to health and safety.

Efforts toward environmental issues
We shall act according to considerations of global environmental impacts and measures to prevent them.

Participating in and contributing toward the development of society
As good corporate citizens, we shall act in good faith following public order, and actively participate in and contribute toward the development of society.

Comprehensive crisis management
We shall conduct thorough systematic crisis management in preparation for the actions of antisocial forces, terrorism, cyberattacks, natural disasters, etc.

Senior management roles and thorough implementation of this charter
Executives and officers, including senior management, shall recognize their roles as enforcing this charter, and strive to lead by example while ensuring that employees achieve a proficient understanding.

Executives and officers shall also work to construct effective corporate governance, being receptive to feedback from both in and outside the company, and thoroughly enforce corporate ethics. In the event of a situation that violates the spirit of this charter and results in a loss of trust from society, senior management shall take the lead in resolving the problem, investigating the causes, working to prevent recurrences, and regaining trust in fulfilling those responsibilities.

Through corporate activities based on MANAC Group’s Charter of Corporate Behavior, we aim to be a fair and transparent company while securing the firm trust of our stakeholders, including the whole of society, and fulfilling our corporate social responsibility. To this end, in addition to conducting education to promote compliance regularly within the group, we are forming an internal whistle-blowing system, establishing a compliance promotion month, and carrying out annual compliance training sessions.

In order to realize a sustainable society, we will occasionally review our compliance measures.
